Samsung SPS 2000

The SPS-2000 is easily configured to meet the needs of various table service, quick service and retail applications. It supports a full complement of POS peripherals, including printers, a comprehensive kitchen video system (KVS), POS scales, scanners, order confirmation board and connects to a back office or remote PC for polling and program maintenance.

Like PC-based hospitality POS systems, the SPS-2000 features touch screen operation - however unlike PC systems, the SPS-2000 has no hard disk drive, running its proprietary built-in application software from on-board flash memory and storing data on non-volatile RAM. This ECR-like design provides significant advantages in speed, reliability, recovery from power interruptions, and can be setup and installed at a lower cost and in significantly less time than many PC-based POS systems.

The SPS-2000 provides vivid color with a high resolution (1024x768) super-bright 12.1" TFT LCD touch screen.

Supports peripherals with six serial, one parallel and two USB ports.

Networks through standard Ethernet communications.

Ergonomically designed, the screen can be tilted from 22° to 77° and the small footprint preserves counter space in cramped quarters.

High Performance memory can be flexibly allocated to support large menus or item files, check files, customer reports and employee time/attendance files.

Menu buttons
For operations with large or complicated menus, individual buttons can be set-up to display a list of items for selection. Buttons could be set-up for starters, mains and desserts for example. The set menu function caters for fixed price meals with a choice of courses.

Intelligent Prompting
Intelligent prompting and sub menus lead operators through transactions ensuring a speedy and accurate registration of orders. For example the registration of a steak order will automatically prompt for cooking instructions and any associated side orders.

Choice of Integral Thermal Printers
Available with either an 80mm wide receipt or a 2 station receipt and journal, the near silent high speed integral printer caters for all receipting needs from fine dining to admission tickets.

Kitchen Control
Auto transmission of food and drink orders, together with prep instructions,
to kichen and dispense area with auto backup and redirect to remote or internal printer.

Management Information
A wide range of standard reports provides detailed sales & financial analysis including hourly sales, last time sold, hours worked and flash sales reports.

Management Control
Individual operator analysis, electronic journal, auditors report and remote terminal monitoring provide security and control. Password access to reports and programming options provides additional security.

Flexible Billing System
Designed to be configurable the system can handle bar tabs & table numbers, rooms, multi bills per table, split billing, table transfers and pouch system. Seating locations increase efficiency of food delivery.

Price Control
Promotions and happy hours can be simply managed using the auto price change option that can be set to change price levels at a certain time and day.
